Sponsorship Sales Executive Circa £40,000 + OTE 60-65k+ Year 1 Remote, UK (Kent Office option) My client is looking for an ambitious, self-starting, highly motivated and experienced sponsorship and exhibition sales professional to help them drive momentum into the return of live events. Delivering targeted, senior level, live, hybrid & virtual events across Europe and the US. What you’ll be doing As a Sponsorship Sales Executive you will play a dynamic role in growing the events by securing new commercial partners and increasing our client base. Working closely with the content producer and marketing department, you will be tasked with negotiating and delivering sponsorship packages that meet the needs of our clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the whole process including sourcing, connecting, pitching and closing new sponsors, and ensuring successful delivery of all aspects of the client experience, plus further cross-selling and growing your own personal portfolio of clients across our industry-leading events. You will be selling across the whole events and webinar portfolio with specific focused projects when required. Focusing on building new business relationships and expanding your client base for each conference to drive further commercial success. Experience Required Experience in sponsorship sales is essential. You will need a strong pedigree of selling in b2b markets at director and partner level, we will be open-minded if you can provide evidence of success with these types of decision makers. We will consider candidates with events delegate sales experience looking to transition to sponsorship sales. You will need experience selling to senior level individuals in companies; prospecting using your own research; cold calling/emailing; dealing with gatekeepers; dealing with marketing heads; identifying needs/pain points; and putting together strong pitches/proposals, both verbal and written. Essential skills 18 Months + experience working in B2B environment. Conference sponsorship sales experience preferred, but not essential Ability to adjust to tight deadlines Prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ Diligent and accurate always Have excellent communication skills, telephone manner and excellent written English Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding targets Please send CV’s to dan@mediasearchinc.co.uk
