We are seeking a Head of Fabrication to drive the development, standardization, and implementation of prefabricated and modular data center solutions across Europe. This role is critical in streamlining the design, procurement, and production of modular components to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and scalability. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, engage with manufacturing partners, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of prefabricated data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Prefabrication Design & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to enhance prefabrication capabilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality modular components for data centers.
  • Oversee End-to-End Fabrication Process: Manage design, production, manufacturing, logistics, assembly, and installation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization: Develop and coordinate logistics for fabrication, transport, and intermediate storage, ensuring just-in-time delivery to support construction teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, and construction teams to integrate prefabrication solutions into data center projects effectively.
  • Innovation & Process Optimization: Drive advancements in prefabrication techniques, automation, and materials to improve efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Standardization & Cost Efficiency: Implement standard plant designs to enhance procurement efficiency and streamline certification processes across regions.
  • Automation & Digital Integration: Develop design automation tools to transition from concept models to coordinated project models efficiently, integrating 3D models into project planning.
  • Sustainability & Energy Coordination: Align prefabrication timelines with energy procurement forecasts, ensuring timely availability of utility capacities and exploring heat recovery solutions.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs to monitor cost efficiency, standardization success, and supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fabrication, modular construction, or manufacturing within the data center, infrastructure, or industrial sector.
  • Strong technical expertise in prefabrication, modular construction methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience managing external suppliers and fabrication partners, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.
