We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee one/two exciting and high-value projects within the commercial and residential sectors. The first project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art office block in Portsmouth, while the second is a large-scale student accommodation development in Southampton.

As a main contractor specializing in Design and Build projects, our client delivers high-quality schemes across the commercial and residential sectors. While they lead the overall project delivery, they subcontract key elements to specialized teams, ensuring the highest level of expertise in every aspect of the build. These projects are crucial to their expanding portfolio, offering you the opportunity to manage prominent developments in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for managing one of the two projects, overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site.
  • Coordinate the delivery of complex design and build projects, ensuring that timelines, costs, and quality standards are maintained.
  • Manage the subcontractor relationships, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee the project’s progress, providing clear reports to stakeholders and addressing any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and mitigate any project risks that could impact delivery.
