Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer in Herefordshire to recruit a Quality Manager Salary: £60-70k +bonus, +health care +enhanced pension Reporting into the General Manager the Quality Manager will be responsible for a team of 7 Duties of the Quality Manager will include: Ensures that all employees perform their job in a safe manner, are properly trained and communicated with effectively Manage the implementation and maintenance of the QMS against industry standards (AS9100, AS13100) Investigate all significant opposing quality trends and implements corrective actions Produce action plans for key processes to provide continuing improvements Develop and execute specific identified improvement plans for specific products Work with other departments to ensure quality is achieved at every stage Develops Company processes and new products to meet objectives Maintain up to date methods of manufacturing and other operating procedures Maintain all company quality systems, procedures and certifications, and ensures that appropriate accreditations are obtained Ensure that products are tested to the correct standards Own the Zero Defects Program and NPDI process We would be keen to speak with Quality Managers with the following skills: Degree qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
