Renault Romford is looking for a Master Technician / Technical Expert to join our dealership’s workshop.
Renault Retail Group is a national network of automotive dealerships representing the brands Renault, Dacia, Nissan and Alpine. We are Renault’s largest dealer group selling 1 in every 5 Renault in the UK and we are 100% owned by Renault.
The Master Technician / Technical Expert role involves carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to the highest standards. You will also be:
- Communicating with the Service Advisors and Workshop Control
- Speaking with customers on occasion to provide expert knowledge and technical opinion.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge of our product portfolio
- Maintaining the highest levels of customer service to encourage customer loyalty and referrals
Candidates should have a City & Guilds or NVQ level III Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, Master Technician accreditation (any brand / manufacturer) and be fully equipped with own tools and hold a full UK Driver’s license.
We will prioritise candidates with previous RTE / Co-Tech experience with Renault, Nissan or Dacia although we are able to provide dedicated ‘conversion’ courses for a Master or Gold-level Technician moving to us from another brand / manufacturer.
The hours for the Master Technician / Technical Expert role are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm with 30 min lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8am to 1pm.
In return we offer our Master Technician / Technical Expert a salary of £44,223 per annum which consists of a basic salary of £42,744 per annum and £1,479 pa for Saturday overtime. You can also earn consistent and uncapped monthly bonuses up to or in excess of £48,000 pa OTE.
Fringe benefits include 25 days annual leave plus the bank holidays, pension, subsidised car option after 3 months’ service (loan plan scheme) and superb career opportunities Group-wide.
