We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established manufacturing company in Buckingham. This company specialises in the production of high-quality wooden pallets and is looking for a reliable and skilled forklift driver to support their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials, load and unload goods, and support production processes.
- Transport wooden pallets and raw materials safely within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
- Ensure all stock is stored correctly and efficiently in designated areas.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the production and warehouse teams to meet operational targets.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
- Good attention to detail and awareness of workplace safety procedures.
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
