The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Patient Pathway Coordinator that is reliable, honest and hard-working, to join our dynamic team at this unique Lens and Laser eye surgery centre.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Will be the first point of contact for our patients therefore a professional, enthusiastic, outgoing personality is a prerequisite for this position
  • Excellent command of the English language both oral and written.
  • Excellent presentation and attention to detail.

Duties:

  • Dealing with any enquiries from website, emails, optometrist referrals and over the phone as well as face to face when required
  • Booking patients appointments (consultations, post-operative checks and surgery)
  • Preparing consultations/post op notes.
  • Collect payments for surgeries, consultations and keep accurate record and provide receipts for patient.
  • Ensure all cash payments/cheque and credit card slips handed to manager for safe keeping on daily basis
  • Open and close the clinic with appropriate security measures
  • Observe patient confidentiality at all times

Admin duties:

  • It is essential that you are confident with Microsoft office – Outlook, Excel and Word and are able to use this as required
  • To provide administrative support to other members of the clinic when assistance is needed including emailing, filing, disposal of items securely and safely and other paper and computer based administrative tasks.
  • To collect and dispatch post, prepare letters and documents, receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • To maintain the customer database; invoice, collect and properly account for payments collected from patients.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of data
  • Maintain stock and supplies of stationeries
  • Assisting the employer in any other reasonable administrative tasks related clinical practice
  • Ensure that all patient records are completed and correspondence sent to referrers in a timely manner and correctly before filing them in an efficient, tidy and secure manner (paper and electronic)
  • Liaise with referring clinician and opticians’ reception/secretary as needed.
  • To undertake ad-hoc tasks

Scheduling:

  • Work with staff to ensure there is no conflict of schedules around patient consultations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience
