Flowtec are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Manchester. You will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key accounts, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing targeted sales strategies to enhance market presence and achieve revenue growth. Identifying and prioritising high-value projects, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
  • Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate and plant-level personnel. Collaborating with internal teams to align sales activities with overall business objectives. Working closely with account managers to develop local and global key accounts.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Preparing and presenting regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market analysis. Providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sales or business development within the process automation or related industry.
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the industrial automation or process instrumentation industry.
  • Experience in strategic pricing agreements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
