An exciting opportunity has opened up for a DMPK Senior or Lead Scientist to join a well-funded, innovation-driven biotech company based in Cambridge, UK. You’ll play a key role in shaping ADME/PK strategy across early-stage discovery projects, using cutting-edge structure-based design approaches to help progress novel candidates into the clinic. The role spans multiple high-growth therapeutic areas including CNS, immunology, GI, and rare diseases.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and interpret in vitro ADME and in vivo PK studies
  • Guide medicinal chemistry teams with human PK predictions and data insights
  • Identify DMPK-related risks and shape mitigation strategies
  • Support PK/PD modelling, dose projections, and development transition

We’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in lead optimisation or preclinical development
  • Strong technical grounding in ADME/PK principles
  • Solid understanding of PhysChem properties and their impact on drug design
  • Confident communicator in cross-functional, fast-paced project teams
  • Experience with PBPK or PK analysis tools (e.g. GastroPlus, WinNonlin) is a plus
