About the Role
As a Shopify Developer at Somos Digital, you will work closely with the strategists and designers in our Brand Building department to bring our client's brands to life on Shopify!
Responsibilities
- Create Shopify stores and customize them to meet specific client requirements. Brand visual assets, copy and web designs will be provided by your teammates.
- Create custom Shopify themes using Shopify's template language (Liquid).
- Develop and implement functionality for Shopify Plus, including custom apps and integrations.
- Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Optimize the performance of existing Shopify stores.
- Understand the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Must be able to show samples of previous work.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid.
- Experience with Shopify Plus and integrating custom applications and integrations.
- Have a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks.

- Experience with version control systems (such as Git) is preferred.
