Key Responsibilities:
- Calibration & Certification - Conduct precise calibration and certification of dimensional measurement equipment.
- Quality & Compliance - Ensure all work aligns with UKAS standards and company procedures.
- Customer Interaction - Provide technical support and expertise on measurement applications.
- On-Site Work - Independently perform tasks both in-house and at customer premises.
- Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate administrative records and reports.
Requirements:
- Engineering Background - Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or an engineering apprenticeship with significant experience in standards room/gauge inspection techniques.
- Metrology Expertise - Strong knowledge of dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
- Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with technical terminology within the sector.
