We’re on the lookout for a UI/UX designer / Product designer / Product manager who lives and breathes design, is obsessed with design and user experience, enjoys health & fitness (bonus points for Hybrid fitness) and most importantly wants to be part of an early stage startup. You love building things, have experience with early stage startups but have always wanted to scratch the itch of building your own company / product. We don’t care about education and degrees, we care about your attitude, enthusiasm, bias for action and ability to solve complex problems. Ideally you’re based in London (office in Battersea) so we can spend 2-3 days together as a founding team to move fast. Speed is critical and you need to be comfortable shipping designs quickly and iterating even quicker.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll work closely with the CEO/CTO to redesign the current mobile & watch apps and work on our exciting 24 month roadmap of features.
- Lead the end-to-end design process for the core product, from concept to production.
- Work closely with engineering and product leadership to craft a UX that helps users achieve their fitness goals.
- Define the information architecture for a product that has no direct comparisons, requiring first-principles thinking and innovation.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate, testing ideas with design partners and customers.
- Operate as a hybrid Product Designer/Product Manager, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Participate in customer meetings and product discussions to gain deep insights into our users' requirements.
What we’d like to see:
- Strong background and portfolio designing for native mobile apps (iOS & Android).
- Experience in early-stage or 0→1 product development, where there’s no playbook, and you have to define the path.
- You’re excited about building and have a good energy / vibe.
- Experienced working in mobile led environments, solving difficult product challenges across platforms and use cases to deliver experiences users love.
- A problem solver and advocate for user-centric design solutions and processes.
- Master of the tools of your trade, such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping software.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Passion for joining an early stage startup.
- You’re disciplined and self-motivated.
- Passion for health & fitness (Huge Bonus).
- Experience building fitness apps (Bonus).
We offer:
- A salary of £40k-50k.
- Flexible working (we typically work 2-3 days in our office in Battersea).
- 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
- A brand new Macbook Pro, a wearable watch if you don’t have one and anything else you need to do your best work.
- Figma subscription.
- An hour slot each week (during work time) to do a ROXFIT workout.
- Free gym at our office (Top of the range hybrid fitness training).
