The successful candidate should have some experience in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with an awareness of Joint Service Publication (JSP) 822 and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).

Experience of working with military customers for domestic and export target audiences is desirable.

An Instructor Qualification, defence or civilian equivalent is desirable coupled with experience of working within a Training Team environment.

Experience of working with multi-disciplined teams, ability to establish positive relationships with a number of different stakeholders and customers.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrable ability to create high-quality PowerPoint training material and support documentation in line with a specific style-guide.

A positive ‘can do’ attitude and pro-active behaviours with which to manage the review process of the training material.

Energy and enthusiasm to establish a good rapport with and deliver formal classroom training to small groups of end users.

The ability to learn complex software applications to Expert User level, in order to contribute to the production of User Manuals and deliver classroom training to small groups.

MBDA is looking for an experienced professional to become a key member of a growing team dedicated to the production, preparation and delivery of training material for the Mission Planning and Target Modelling products we provide to our domestic and export customers.
Salary: up to £50K dependent on experience + bonus + benefits
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen to become a key member of a growing team dedicated to the production, preparation and delivery of training material for the Mission Planning and Target Modelling products we provide to our domestic and export customers.
Training material and training courses will be designed, produced, reviewed and delivered, to the end users at the MBDA training facility at Filton, or at MOD facilities.
The Mission Planning and Target Modelling applications are advanced software products used frequently by our customers; you will be primarily conducting instructional design and delivery for these Mission Planning products to support a variety of customers.
