We are seeking a proficient Welder to join our team in Suffolk. This role is essential to our operations and involves a significant amount of repetitive work, including jig-based welding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of producing high-quality welds consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel components with precision and efficiency.
- Work primarily with jig-based welding setups to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Maintain high standards of weld quality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet company specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment.
Core Hours: 39.5 hours per week. Flexibility to cover up to 45 hours per week during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG welder, particularly with steel welding.
- Ability to work with jig-based welding setups.
