Opus people solutions on behalf of Suffolk County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team.

Hourly Rate: £35.00ph

Working Hours: 37 hours

Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office Riverside, 4 Canning Road Lowestoft NR32 0EQ

  • Practice in line with Children in Care social work tasks
  • Preparing Children in Care paperwork and pathway plans
  • Face to face visits with young people and carers
  • Office based work as well as vocational travel
  • Supporting young people to prepare for adulthood, especially in relation to completing referrals for post 18 accommodation
  • Liaising with educational providers as well as partner agencies as needed
  • Able to follow safeguarding procedures
  • Prepare and attend supervision
