The Tenable Nessus SME is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanners within an on-premises environment. They will need to ensure proper deployment and integration of Nessus sensors across the environment to effectively identify and assess security vulnerabilities.
Key activities include:
- Deploying scanners
- Working with client security teams
- Configuring scan policies
- Managing asset discovery
- Enabling reports
- Implementing remediation activities

Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of Tenable Nessus architecture and its various components
