We are looking for a Recoveries Account Executive in our Recoveries team. The Collections & Recoveries team actively cultivates a supportive collections & recoveries culture for SMEs through their specialised debt collection procedures.

Salary: £32,500

The role:

  • Manage a portfolio of defaulted loan accounts, negotiating repayment arrangements to recover outstanding debt and achieve positive outcomes for Funding Circle's investors.
  • Build trust and rapport with borrowers and guarantors to understand their financial situations and work with them to find sustainable repayment solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong investigatory and analytical skills to achieve maximum but cost-effective recoveries.
  • Support with focused campaigns and initiatives to drive performance and investor returns.
  • Liaise with instructed third parties and professional advisors, including solicitors, debt managers and insolvency practitioners.
  • Work closely with our in-house Collections, Litigation & Business Support Teams in appropriately servicing the interests of Funding Circle's customers.
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in Collections, Recoveries, or Credit Control, demonstrating relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Results-oriented and competitive: Experience in consistently achieving targets, SLAs, and KPIs while striving for continuous improvement.
  • Organised with great attention to detail and the ability to use multiple systems concurrently in the workplace.
  • The ability to empathise with borrowers and the commitment to assist them in solving issues through your first-class customer service skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven track record of working independently and finding effective solutions to complex problems.
