The Role:
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will play a vital role within a high-performing team, collaborating with one of the firm’s leading Partners. You’ll handle a range of exciting corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity, and corporate restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Closely with the Partner: You will be working directly alongside a highly respected corporate partner.
- Manage your own caseload of corporate matters: Ensuring client needs are met with precision, attention to detail, and excellent legal insight.
- Business Development: Develop your business development skills by contributing to client pitch presentations, and build strong relationships with clients.
- Client Management: Work with clients to understand their business goals, advise on corporate strategy, and provide tailored legal solutions. You’ll be trusted by the partner to manage relationships and build long-term partnerships.
- Mentoring and Teamwork: As you grow within the firm, you’ll mentor junior members of the team, helping them develop their own skills while collaborating to achieve team and client objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- PQE: You will be NQ-2 years of PQE in corporate law, with exposure to M&A, corporate transactions.
- Client Relationship Skills: You’ll be keen to develop your client relationship skills, being mentored by the partner.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercially Aware: A keen understanding of business and commercial strategy, with the ability to advise clients on both legal and commercial matters.
