Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at Primary Schools in Bristol. These roles are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools in the local area. Working alongside your own specialist consultant, you will be able to let us know when you are available to work and we can arrange for you to work on the days that you tell us you can! If you wanted to work five days one week and then two days the next, you will be able to do this. Hays can also provide you the opportunity to build relationships with our partnership schools local to you, with many going on to secure longer-term and even permanent placements.
This role can be on a full or part-time basis meaning you can fit this around your schedule and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class for the day; the role is open to ECT’s. Whilst the role can be part-time depending on your availability, the successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. Whilst there are no PPA responsibilities, you will be required to mark any work you have set for the day. If you like the challenge of working varying supply for primary schools in the local area at a time that suits your schedule then this is the role for you.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
- Experience teaching in a Primary School.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
