We are seeking to appoint a Lesson Cover Supervisor to support the teaching staff and provide class supervision when a teacher is absent. This role plays an important role in the school cover system and is an ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to work with young people and become an integral part of our school community. It is also an ideal opportunity for someone who is potentially looking at teaching as a future career as it will enable valuable in‑class experience.
Cover supervisors work with students but will not be required to do preparation, planning or marking. Other duties may include accompanying school trips and when not covering lessons some general administrative tasks may be undertaken. Full training and induction will be provided.

Hours: 30 per week, 8:30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Salary: WMAT Grade WA3 9‑12 Full time equivalent £24,420 – £26,167 (Actual £17,506 – £18,759)
