We have a new opportunity for a Senior Bartender to join our team in Ting, our restaurant located within the Shangri-La hotel on the 35th floor of the iconic Shard building. At Ting, we serve a bespoke menu of Asian-influenced European cuisine, with cocktails to complement the unique array of flavours.
Our Senior Bartender should have a strong knowledge of wines and spirits, as well as a creative flair. You will play a key role not just in Ting, but also as a part of the Shangri-La Hotel, and therefore be committed to our values and beliefs, and our constant strides to take us into the next level of luxury, recommendation, and taste.
We are looking for a candidate who has a level of experience within a similar environment. Our Senior Bartender will have knowledge of cocktail creations, an immaculate appearance, as well as motivation and a positive attitude. Your duties will include:
- Making cocktails
- Serving guests
- Maintaining consistent stock rotation and equipment
- Handling glassware
- Overseeing liquor replacement to ensure smooth service
Who we are looking for:
- Someone with a pleasant and welcoming manner
- A thorough knowledge of cocktails, wines & spirits
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage systems
- Experience in a luxury, 5 Star Hotel preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of Forbes standards
- Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Confidence in a fast-paced, high-expectations luxury environment
