What will be expected from you?
- Handling enquiries from clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties.
- Recording detailed attendance notes for all correspondence.
- Opening and closing files, keeping them up-to-date with both electronic and hard copy correspondence, while ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm standards.
- Providing administrative support, including tasks such as photocopying and scanning.
- Drafting basic letters and preparing/submitting simple legal documents.
- Completing legal forms, registering documents, and submitting applications to the Court.
- Managing contact lists and calendars for fee earners.
- Tracking and monitoring deadlines.
- Conducting searches and registering Wills with Certainty.
- Preparing and submitting bills to the finance team on behalf of fee earners.
- Creating Estate Accounts using Excel.
- Providing reception cover.
- Preparing and handling banking and post tasks.
