A Guillotine Operator is required to join a large steel firm located in the Birmingham area on a temp to perm basis. You will be responsible for operating a Cincinnati guillotine to cut steel, as well as driving a counterbalance forklift truck to manoeuvre stock around the workplace, loading and unloading machinery and vehicles.
Your regular duties would include:
- Operating a Cincinnati guillotine to cut steel
- Working with steel from 0.4mm to 10mm in thickness
- Marking material with works information
- Driving a counterbalance FLT
- Loading and unloading steel
To be considered for this role you must be an experienced Guillotine Operator with recent experience coming from within the steel industry.
Working hours for this role would be straight days - 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday / 6:30am - 2:30pm Fridays.
Paying - £12.50 per hour.
