Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness is seeking an experienced Operations/Duty Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel and deliver the highest level of guest satisfaction. The role requires working five days from seven, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet, converse, and assist guests with enquiries.
- Manage first impressions of guests and perform tasks to the highest standards.
- Occupy the hotel reception and public areas, particularly during busy times.
- Engage guests in conversation and provide general assistance.
- Manage, record, and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Meet and greet VIP guests.
- Ensure all areas are sufficiently covered with appropriate staffing levels.
- Work predominantly in F&B departments such as the bar and restaurant.
- Stay current with all hotel products, services, policies, and emergency procedures.
- Handle management issues or emergencies that arise.
- Comply with health and safety procedures, including fire walks and recording accidents.
- Act as the host in the lounge/bar area during late shifts.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory/management experience in hospitality in a busy quality hotel is essential.
- Strong food and beverage background.
- Calm, efficient, and able to work well under pressure.
- Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
