Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Air and Roadfreight Import Clerk for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Duties:

  • Airfreight and Roadfreight Import (Start to Finish)
  • Customs Clearances
  • Being the main lead on the product mailbox, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with and responded to in a timely and professional manner. This can, during a busy period, generate a lot of mail traffic so the individual needs to be very organised and know their way around the latest Outlook Version.
  • Ensuring the Brokerage requirements are completed in accordance with what is required and compliant with HMR&C rules and regulations.
  • Regular and clear and precise milestone updates to our partners and customers alike.
  • Following up every shipment through to POD confirmation, passing that on, along with our Debit Note to the party responsible for the charging.

Experience Required:

  • A good organiser and someone who knows the mechanics of the New Outlook.
  • Incoterms knowledge is necessary as this is required for a number of functions within any given Import transaction.
  • Import Entry knowledge through the CDS system - Sourcing Commodity Codes and understanding CPC Codes is a must.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 (100% Office based, NO Hybrid Working)
