Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Leeds who are looking for a Construction Senior Associate to join their team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage complex construction litigation matters, including disputes related to contracts, delays, defects, and project financing.
- Provide expert legal advice on construction law, dispute resolution strategies, and risk management.
- Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, statements of claim, and defense submissions.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and experts to gather evidence, assess claims, and develop case strategies.
- Manage and mentor junior lawyers, providing guidance on legal research, drafting, and case management.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
The successful candidate:
- 5 + Years PQE with construction litigation experience.
- Confident in working with a range of clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Natural team player.
- Be driven, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.
