Bield Response24 have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join and support our alarm receiving centre. Bield Response24 are a small but very effective team and, with strong leadership skills, the team leader will support, develop and effectively manage the operation, working closely with the BR24 Manager. The role is offered at 21 hours per week on a shift rota pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday 0800 - 1530
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 1430 - 2200

The Role

You will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of Emergency Call Advisors, who react to incoming emergency alarm and voice calls, providing advice and support to our customers. Working with the system BR24 use, you will effectively analyse data to support decision making, reviewing processes and procedures to identify improvements whilst constructively feeding back quality checks to the team to support continuous improvement. The role occasionally requires you to answer incoming alarm and voice calls, understanding the reason for the call, and coordinating next steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers during periods of demand. Rota/resource management experience would be desirable for effective use of deployment for cover.

The role of Team Leader has an on call requirement covering for annual leave and sickness absence as required. Please note, BR24 is a 365 days a year service. The team work on public and bank holidays which includes, for example, Christmas Day.

  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable/elderly people is desirable as this will help you demonstrate the high level of empathy we are looking for.

Full & comprehensive training will be provided, as well as supportive team and peer support to help you deal with the many differing situations handled by the team on a daily basis.
