A London-based law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Property Disputes team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the department while maintaining a high standard of client service and supporting the Head of Department in achieving the firm's business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate disputes, with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and deliver work on own matters, ensuring profitability and appropriate resourcing.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and referrers, exceeding service expectations and supporting senior partners in managing and developing larger clients.
  • Define and agree on services provided to clients, ensuring clear charging and pricing structures.
  • Leverage sector knowledge to provide high-quality legal advice.
  • Make independent decisions on client matters, consulting partners as needed for complex or unfamiliar issues.
  • Establish a reputation as a subject matter expert.
  • Contribute ideas to the departmental business plan and drive new business development activities.
  • Expand the client network and support partners in pursuing target clients and intermediaries, building a pipeline of new business.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team, including mentoring and supporting junior members.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE.
  • Extensive experience in Real Estate Disputes.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial property dispute matters.
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on excellent client service delivery.
  • Experience actively engaging in business development activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business through successful BD initiatives.
