Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the Quantity Surveying function on assigned projects. This role is crucial in achieving our mission and upholding our values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the commercial management of the project, including measurement, contractual correspondence, procurement, and management of subcontractors.
- Handle the procurement and placement of material orders, submission of interim and final accounts, and identifying, notifying, and valuing compensation events.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, monitor progress and control costs through material reconciliations and weekly production reporting.
- Financial reporting will include cost and value reconciliations and cash flows.
- Attend progress meetings, maintain a site diary and record-keeping including as-built records, as well as general management duties such as staff training and administration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
