Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Property Desk Team and gain valuable experience? We are looking for a dedicated Virtual Desk Based Adjuster to provide a customer-focused and cost-effective service, handling claims from instruction to completion with delegated authority commercial claims typically up to £25k.
A bit about the job:
- This role involves using virtual tools to assess and validate commercial property damage claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms.
- Responsibilities include managing claims to settlement, identifying and flagging fraud and recoveries, and reporting on market, legal, and technical trends.
- The position also supports training and operational changes, while effectively managing an active caseload in accordance with claims handling guidelines.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Handling property claims at notification stage & appreciation of routing rules & capability needs to meet customer demand.
- Cert CILA/CII, Building qualifications, BDMA desirable.
- Good technical knowledge and experience of commercial insurance claims and the application of commercial wordings.
- A good understanding of property construction is preferable.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, meeting customer needs through expertise and integrity, partnered with excellent communication skills.
- IT literate & ability to adapt to changing processes and methods learn new technology.
What you'll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £30,000 and £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
