Principal ASIC Design Engineer Cambridge This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal ASIC Design Engineer to join a talented and well established HW team in the beautiful City of Cambridge. You will join a well known industry name who have a passion for creativity and innovation, with over millions of their product sold in the last decade this is a superb time to join. Due to recent success, Stock options are also now offered as part of their superb compensation package! I am looking for an experienced Principal ASIC Design Engineer to join the team, on site in Cambridge. As an experienced design engineer, you will be capable of and comfortable with working autonomously. This role requires a good level of experience and a wide range of skills. You would have some or all of the following skills and experience: Hands-on experience working on complex SoC designs. Experience of digital and physical silicon IP, such as processors, USB, PCIe, DDR SDRAM, Wi-Fi, SDIO/eMMC, MIPI CSI/DSI Experience of interconnect standards. Ability to form requirements and specify architectural features. Expert-level Verilog/SystemVerilog for design and verification Familiarity with scripting languages. Whilst there is scope progress in the role along with mentorship and managing parts of the project – this role will really suit an individual contributor, a ‘do-er’ who is keen to get stuck in to various projects and tasks.
