We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our Procurement function on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will sit within our Business Services Sourcing team who are responsible for looking after all sourcing requirements outside of our IT and Change function.
Working as part of a small team, the person in post will work with budget holders to implement the Business Services Procurement strategy for the Society. The Buyer will liaise with suppliers from the initial conversation through to onboarding and will be responsible for administration such as uploading contracts to our system, providing MI when required, and producing reports to support Procurement Managers.
As a member of the Society's Procurement Function, the role also requires the person in post to identify, report, and mitigate any third-party risk in line with the Society's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
