Mobility Consultant – OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPECIALIST – MASSIVE IT CONTRACTS – SHIP

Mobility Consultant is required for a services driven tech business who are growing at an exponential rate. If you want to work with an organisation on some of the largest IT Services contracts in the market and have the genuine ability to cross train on new technologies at the same time gaining vendor direct training and certification then please read the below role. The role is to act as a Mobility Consultant focusing on a broad 3rd Line activity but having Airwatch as a focal point on one of the largest clients. We are prepared to look at 3rd Line Engineers who simply have a personal interest in mobility solutions and train from there.

The role will see the successful person acting as a Technical Specialist in mobility technologies, providing advice, design, delivery and support to customers and hosted and managed services.

Duties:

1. Technical consultancy and implementation work, on customer sites, for managed services and for hosted services.
2. Technical scoping of customer requirements.
3. Creating high and low level technical documentation for customer consultancy engagements.
4. 3rd line technical support for relevant services.

Skills/Experience Required:

1. Knowledge in a broad range of technologies including server technologies, networking, virtualisation, firewalls and security technologies.
2. Experience of mobility management technologies.
3. Ability to understand complex technical concepts.
4. Ability to learn and absorb new skills and technologies.
5. Able to create high quality technical documentation.

Desirable Knowledge/Qualifications:

1. VMware AirWatch.
2. Microsoft O365.
3. Firewalls.
4. IT Security products.
