To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all. With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

  • This role has a flexible start time however we would be looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
  • Availability to volunteer on the day of the event (Saturday 5th July) is essential.
  • This role carries an average volunteer time of 6-8 hours per week.

Your Role

As a Production Lead at Pride in London, you'll play a critical role in delivering our vibrant, authoritative, and inclusive production across our celebrated stages. With a keen eye for detail, you'll mentor junior team members, ensuring all essential stage information is gathered while embodying Pride's core values. Your expertise will drive regular team meetings, content collection, and provide the knowledge needed for successful execution. Most importantly, you'll be our community guardian—ensuring productions authentically represent the diverse LGBT+ community, staying vigilant about current challenges, and advocating for inclusive representation at every turn. Your Responsibilities

  • Mentoring, guiding and training junior team members to ensure we gain all the relevant information that we need for the stage they are leading on.
  • Guide the production assistants in the collection of content.
  • Chase any outstanding content.
  • Conduct regular, scheduled meetings with the team.
  • Be a role model for Pride in London’s values and behaviours.
  • Support by providing necessary tools/knowledge/experience to enable delivery of plans.
  • Ensure that production is in the interests of the LGBT+ community and meets with diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintain high levels of awareness surrounding current threats and challenges to the LGBT+ Community.
  • Advise directors of risks and potential mitigation.
