The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Following continuous success and growth across our wider Underwriting and Distribution areas, we are further expanding our Proposition team with a newly created Proposition Lead focusing on our Construction offering. This is a key role designed to elevate our construction proposition strategy, delivering alignment across market needs and driving the development of innovative, customer-facing solutions. This role will provide deep industry expertise, thought leadership and commercial acumen to differentiate our offerings and strengthen our market presence.

Your new role:

  • Strategic Proposition Development: Define, refine, and implement a comprehensive construction proposition that aligns with market trends and client needs.
  • Innovation & Competitive Edge: Lead the creation of solutions that enhance our ability to address emerging risks and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Market and Client Insight: Utilise data-driven insights to ensure our construction proposition remains relevant and highly competitive.
  • Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and distribution teams to create a seamless, well-integrated proposition.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company as a construction industry expert, influencing internal and external stakeholders with market-leading insights and strategies.

About you:

  • Clear expertise within the Construction space across any Insurance discipline.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate a matrix environment, build strong internal and external relationships, and align QBE’s activity with client and broker needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly in both written and spoken form.
