We are looking for an experienced Affiliate SEO Manager to drive top-funnel search traffic for a leading global media brand. This contract role focuses on optimising editorial commerce content, working closely with content teams to maximise organic search visibility and affiliate revenue growth.
Start Date: 1st April
Duration: 2 months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Location: Hybrid preferred (Remote and/or Part Time can be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO-driven traffic acquisition strategies for commerce content.
- Collaborate with editorial leads to optimise content for high-purchase-intent audiences.
- Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Monitor site performance, conduct SEO audits, and report on traffic trends.
- Act swiftly following algorithm updates to maintain and recover rankings.
- Use SEO analytics tools to measure performance and provide actionable insights.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven SEO experience in an editorial, publishing, or agency environment.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Pi Datametrics).
- Strong Google Analytics skills and familiarity with audience tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse performance data and adapt strategies accordingly.
