Job Duties:
- We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Business Analyst with sound knowledge and experience in the risk domain for one of our global Investment Banking Clients.
- Lead/manage large global projects for structured products and Treasury business transformation across functional and multi-geographic teams as a Lead Business Analyst.
- Review & document Structured Note booking processes.
- Create a comprehensive business plan to reduce/eliminate Structured Note booking deficiencies and help the client attain higher volumes.
- Help in identifying automation scope across the process to streamline and improve the issuance and reporting process.
- Deliver MIS reports that outline error and process stress-points.
- Implement Global requirements for treasury business, participate actively with Development design and deliver the projects/solutions on time.
- Closely work with Trading desks, Product Control team, business managers, risk and Technology teams to understand and create the project plan.
- Obtain signoff from the Global Markets and Treasury teams on the proposed plan.
Skills Required:
- Min. 8 years of experience in the banking industry as Lead Business Analyst/Project Manager.
- Experience of building software solutions for banking applications (treasury is preferred) with a focus on market products.
- Experience with products (ideally bonds, swaps, money markets etc.) and understanding risk calculation and the entire product lifecycle.
- Should have a safe pair of hands that can run big projects independently front to back including analysis, development coordination, testing and all user interactions.
- Ability to understand customer business processes and requirements and translate them into functional requirements across a wide array of market treasury products and technologies.
- Experience of working with multiple system partners, Product Control teams, development and support teams.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data) in presenting to partner teams and senior managers.
- Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams, specific to banking Architecture.
- Ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities to drive results.
- Exposure to project management and agile methodologies.
