Commercial Solicitor – TMT & Data Privacy – Birmingham – This leading law firm is looking for Senior Solicitor to join its reputable Commercial team in Birmingham, focusing on data privacy and technology. The role involves advising clients in diverse sectors on data privacy compliance, technology contracts, and data protection due diligence.

Overview

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £90,000
Previous Experience: 5+ PQE with demonstrable experience advising on a range of technology agreements

Global Network

The current team of experts is spread across the UK and work alongside its international network with wider teams across key industry sectors. You will:

1. Advise clients on data privacy compliance and legal strategies.
2. Draft and negotiate technology contracts, including SaaS, outsourcing, and IT product agreements.
3. Assist in data protection due diligence for national corporate teams.
4. Research and deliver webinars on emerging topics like AI.
5. Build and maintain client relationships while contributing to business development.

About You

1. Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in data privacy and technology law.
2. Strong technical and client-facing skills with the ability to manage matters independently.
3. Experience in advising on data privacy compliance, technology contracts, and commercial arrangements.
