This is an opportunity to join a global real estate investor working as the right hand person to the Head of Europe. With €2bn (and growing) AUM they have a mandate to invest in and develop hotels, logistic and industrial assets, and data centres in the UK and Europe (in particular Spain, Germany, and CEE). The role will be varied covering investment, asset management and development.
The MD is looking for an experienced real estate investor who has strong opinions on the market and enjoys debating investment opportunities. Somebody who can bring an understanding of the construction process to the investment discussions is of particular interest to him.
For deals they agree to take a serious look at you will lead the underwriting and execution process (with support of a deal team). You need to enjoy variety. One day you might be in Poland negotiating an agreement to get power to some land they have acquired and the next you might be negotiating the terms of a buy-out clause with one of their JV partners.
What they need:
- 4-10 years of UK/European real estate investment experience covering 2 or more asset classes
- Proven ability to lead transactions including a 2-3 person deal team
- Blend of analytical / underwriting expertise and the personality and charisma to get deals done.
- A background / solid understanding of the construction process would be an advantage.
