I am working with a busy Local Authority based in the South East of England who require an Interim Senior Enforcement Officer to complete an initial 3-6 month contract, with the view to extend beyond this.

My client requires an experienced Officer to take over Enforcement cases and effectively manage the process through it’s entirety. You will be fully responsible for investigating alleged breaches of unlawful development and taking formal action and issuing notices if necessary.

As well as issuing notices, you will also be required to capably prepare written reports and evidence and be able to confidently present said evidence in Inquiries, Court, and Planning Hearings.

Due to the nature of the role, the position will be remote based with site visits/office presence required once a week.

My client has left the rate open at this stage, but insist will pay market rate for the ideal candidate. However, it is anticipated the client will offer between £40 and £50 an hour depending on your experience.
