The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Events and Customer Advocacy Program Manager to take our events and customer engagement to the next level. At Duco we are customer obsessed. We attend industry conferences, host our own events and webinars, and engage proactively in a customer experience that builds customer advocacy. This role will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on events, while also building and managing a customer advocacy program. The role sits in Duco’s Growth Marketing Team, who are responsible for generating demand and sourcing pipeline for the business. As part of the wider organisation, you will join a talented and highly motivated team of more than 200 Duco professionals across US, UK, Europe and APAC. You will be organised, good at cultivating lasting business relations, and have knowledge of the capital markets landscape so you can create and execute on the regional sales strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Events
- Plan and execute all our marketing events, including industry conferences, in-house and digital events
- Conduct preliminary event research such as package options, target audience, agenda, location, suitability for Duco sponsorship, etc.
- Coordinate event communications across customers, prospects, suppliers and internal teams. Includes: briefings, project plans, emails, social media posts, website landing pages, etc.
- Source and order materials for the events, such as giveaways, exhibition stands, banners and branding, food and beverages, audio/visual equipment where required, etc.
- Ensure data hygiene for events: review attendee lists, qualify leads, monitor outreach and next steps
- Prepare and track event budgets and expenses
- Monitor event effectiveness, collate feedback and produce event reports
- Design, implement, and manage a customer advocacy program that turns loyal customers into passionate brand ambassadors who actively refer new business
- Identify and engage with existing customers who are advocates or have the potential to become advocates
- Develop strategies for generating referrals and create systems that track and reward customer referrals. Ensure the referral process is seamless, easy, and incentivises customers to refer others
- Work with broader marketing organization to create and manage customer-centric content (testimonials, case studies, video interviews, etc.) that showcase customer success stories and highlight the impact of Duco’s solutions
- Track and report on the success of the advocacy program, including metrics such as customer participation, referral conversions, and overall ROI. Continuously refine strategies based on performance data
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience with B2B physical and digital events and audiences
- Experience with customer advocacy programs
- Very strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure that everything and everyone is prepared for events, and that the events themselves are delivered to a high standard
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure team members, customers and suppliers all know what is happening and when
- Great resilience and problem solving skills for when the occasional spanner gets thrown into the works!
- A creative side to help us brainstorm new themes, experiential ideas and swag so we can continue to stand out from the crowd
- Experience in finance or SaaS software company is a plus
- Experience of hybrid/remote working is a plus
