The Company is seeking to hire a Sales Executive, based in London. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a candidate who can bring the right balance of product and industry knowledge, communication skills and sales aptitude to a complex value proposition. You are expected to work closely with other members of the Sales team to drive what can often be complex deals with detailed client specific requirements. You will identify new opportunities and own the sales cycle from beginning to end.
Key Accountabilities- Effectively communicate the Commcise value proposition and market differentiation among the competitive landscape.
- Achieve lead generation and revenue targets as set and agreed with the Head of Sales & CEO.
- Stay up to date with the Commcise software platform functionality, new enhancements, and evolving demands of both buy-side and sell-side firms within the investment research space.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities with decision makers at asset managers, brokerage firms and investment research providers.
- Nurture and qualify both inbound / outbound leads to be guided through sales funnel with technical expertise and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and product specialists to advance prospects from qualification to closing.
- Become an SME within the Investment Research space, acting in a consultancy type manner to both buy-side and sell-side firms to assist with driving the deal pipeline.
- Develop a robust and documented sales strategy for each sales opportunity that reaches a 50% forecast probability.
- Maintain leads, activities & opportunities in the group prospect monitoring solution (CRM) to promote transparency.
- Strong client facing skills with ability to establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders at target firms.
- Track record of building a sales pipeline and strong prospecting skills.
- Confident in initiating conversations and identifying potential business opportunities.
- Experience describing and demonstrating the structure, characteristics, and behaviour of software.
- Self-motivated with an ability to exhibit productivity in an independent setting.
- Resourceful, focused, well organised and disciplined.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment partnering to close deals.
- Strong ability to understand and gather requirements from clients in order to deliver tailored sales strategy and implementation plan.
- B2B SaaS inside sales experience in capital markets.
- Consultancy background with experience working for and/or with financial institutions.
- Experience using sales tools such as CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel, Notion, Slack.
- Knowledge of the Investment Research market, MIFID II research inducement and unbundling regulation.
- Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side dynamic as it pertains to Investment Research.
- Bachelor or equivalent degree from accredited university.
