FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

As an experienced Senior Data Analyst, you will lead analytics efforts focused on understanding the performance and effectiveness of marketing content across our client’s website. This role will leverage Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other digital tools to assess user engagement, optimise content strategies, and inform decision-making across the marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse website traffic and user behaviour using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing content.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as bounce rates, time on page, and click-through rates, to evaluate content performance.
  • Assess how different types of marketing content (e.g., articles, videos, tools) contribute to user engagement and business goals.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve the quality, placement, and targeting of website content.
  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to refine strategies based on analytics insights.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track website performance metrics and provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Generate regular reports summarising findings, insights, and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Present analyses to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Partner with marketing, design, and product teams to align analytics insights with broader business objectives.
  • Provide input into A/B testing and personalisation strategies to enhance user experiences and content effectiveness.

About You

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, preferably in a marketing or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Analytics including advanced segmentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Proven experience in analysing website performance and content effectiveness.
  • High proficiency in analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Proficiency in data visualisation platforms Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Optimizely) and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
