As part of the Palm Beach Health Network, West Boca Medical Center has delivered high-quality integrated healthcare in a community hospital environment in Boca Raton, FL, for 35 years. The state-of-the-art robotic surgery program offers minimally invasive surgery for certain procedures. Expectant mothers and their infants are treated with award-winning care at The Boca Center for Women’s Care. This group anesthesia practice is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at West Boca Medical Center and at Delray Medical Center, a designated Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
