Baltimore Consulting are partnered with a North London Local Authority who are seeking an experienced Interim English Lead Teacher to join the Home Tuition Team within the Specialist Education and Training Support Service (SEaTSS). This is an exciting opportunity to lead English provision for students unable to attend school, ensuring they receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver Key Stage 3 & 4 English curriculum for home-taught students.
  • Plan and assess GCSE English studies.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to tutors.
  • Work with schools to support reintegration and deliver training.
  • Engage with parents, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Experience with PEX (Permanent Exclusion) students is highly desirable.
About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience leading English groups and delivering GCSE content.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusion strategies.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including some remote working.
