Our client is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their expanding team. Their premises are based in Dorset and they specialize in robotics and automation solutions.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to build and test electrical systems accurately and efficiently. You will need to be a proactive problem solver with a strong understanding of industrial safety systems. The role also requires travel to client sites for the installation and commissioning of automation systems, so a willingness to travel is important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and critically assess technical electrical drawings.
  • Build, test, and validate electromechanical automation systems.
  • Identify and resolve electrical faults, implementing effective solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A recognised electrical qualification to City & Guilds / NVQ2 / HNC

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical electrical drawings with confidence.

Other Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
