As one of the leading gym brands in the world, we are seeking a creative and strategic Senior Content Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. You will develop and execute our content strategy, with the aim of inspiring a healthier nation and building brand strength across our three core countries (UK, Switzerland and Denmark). This is a hybrid working opportunity, based from our Leeds office.
The Role:
- Develop and execute the content marketing strategy across our three core countries to inspire a healthier nation, build our brand and support acquisition and retention goals.
- Identify content opportunities to support low-confidence gym users and engage growth audiences to build healthy habits.
- Utilise key content channels and wider marketing functions such as CRM, App, SEO, Digital and Local Marketing.
- Work closely with our group content marketing manager and DK social and content manager to bring the strategy to life with detailed channel content plans, localised for all markets.
- Oversee and support the UK, DK and CH social media managers to implement a strong social media and channel specific strategy, in line with our content pillars, to engage, inspire and educate our members and prospects.
- Oversee and support the Group Influencer Marketing Manager to use creators and influencers to build brand awareness in key audience groups, amplify marketing campaigns and fuel UGC demands across core content channels.
- Collaborate with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and the group campaign team to activate and amplify brand campaigns and key brand moments through core content channels.
- Work closely with creative lead and creative studio team to ensure content briefs, pre-production and post-production deliverables are aligned with our strategic content vision.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of content and social campaigns against KPIs on all our key content channels.
- Set the content and influencer budgets across the group, and support localised teams to project and plan spend.
The Person:
- 3+ years experience in content marketing, with a track record of developing successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversion on core content channels.
- Have a good understanding of how content can play a key role in all stages of the marketing funnel and to target different audiences and personas.
- Passionate about health and fitness with a drive to make a difference to people’s lives through content.
- Proven experience in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a content and social team, with strong line management skills and the ability to nurture talent and drive team performance.
- Have great attention to detail, an eye for what good content looks like and passion to be a strong brand guardian, immersed in our product and values.
- Have experience successfully managing and delivering content volume at scale across multiple projects and campaigns, with excellent organisational skills and time management.
- Great knowledge of current and emerging content and social media channels and features, and a good understanding of how content can be optimised for each channel.
- A great communicator that can ensure content, influencer and social strategies and briefs are executed accurately.
- Have an analytical mindset, with experience measuring and analysing the effectiveness of content and social performance which can then inform further strategy optimisation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally - collaborating with various teams and stakeholders across our three core countries.
