As part of our Altogether Better approach and collaboration with The Co-operative Bank, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a 6-month FTC. In this role, you will provide analytical expertise and oversight from a Credit Risk perspective as we integrate Secured, Unsecured, and SME products from The Bank into the Group. This is a great chance to work on a high-impact project, collaborate with key stakeholders, and enhance your expertise in credit risk management.
Working closely with the society and the bank colleagues to gather data and provide insights on credit risk across the Group by analysing credit portfolios, identifying potential credit risks, conducting deep dives and providing clear reports to Credit Risk leadership on key findings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data analysis, problem-solving, and working with stakeholders to manage risk effectively.
To be successful in this role it’s essential you have:
- Deep analytical experience including using statistical techniques.
- Experience of working with large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience of translating analysis into meaningful summaries and narratives.
Desirable experience needed will be:
- Experience of reporting packages e.g. SAS would be an advantage.
