The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 £ per year.
This is a global role across VOIS and an extremely critical position helping deliver the organization’s safe, secure, and compliant agenda. It is an overarching role that will have an impact on risk operations across the VOIS footprint, aimed at bringing consistency, consolidation, and collaboration amongst the existing and new territories.
The person should possess commercial knowledge and enterprise risk SME understanding with an ability to structure and oversee an effective ERM framework and to coach and guide all business units on effective risk management practice to enable the business to achieve its objectives.
- Design and implement VSOL/VOIS ERM framework across all international geographies and business lines.
- Manage the top risk finalization process including Leadership, VOIS Tower, and Centre LT survey and interviews.
- Act as a senior risk business partner for risk owners and champions, supporting them to create control frameworks, papers, and reporting in a way that enables the business to manage downside risk but also identify and make informed decisions on risk-taking as a commercial opportunity.
- Oversee the Line of Sight (LoS) report creation and guide risk owners/champions in this activity in a way that really gets to the heart of the risk issues at hand and is in no way tick box or cursory.
- The individual will need a solid understanding of external geopolitics and best practices in order to be able to advise and consult effectively.
- Oversee the risk register maintenance and monitor mitigation action completion.
- Collaborate with the risk-domain expert community and transitions team to drive the ‘Risk Management within Transitions’ process.
- Lead a team of direct reports including the centre risk managers.
- Responsible for all people management activities including hiring & retention, talent development, and performance management.
- Plan and organize VOIS and Centre Risk Committees, facilitating crisp and effective discussions and decisions on ERM amongst senior stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports at governance forums including Group ARC and VSOL ARC.
- Lead submissions of VOIS top risks in line with group requirements on Risk sense.
- Act as the liaising point between group risk, centre risk teams, and risk owners/champions regarding group deliverables, new initiatives, and reporting.
