An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward thinking travel company for an experienced Travel Consultant due to success and expansion. This travel company offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe to travellers from luxury tailormade travel to all bespoke inclusive packages. This role is ideal for an existing travel consultant from a tour operator or travel agency.
Travel Consultant Duties:
- Crafting inspiring itineraries across the globe to families and couples including honeymoons, tailormade travel, city breaks, cruises, and bespoke packages.
- Arranging a wide range of luxury holiday types, travel extras including tours, airport lounges, car hire, insurance etc.
- Providing recommendations to clients.
- Attending events and trade fayres to increase exposure.
- Account managing clients from start to finish.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service.
- Converting incoming enquiries to a sale.
- Building a rapport with customers.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have sales experience within the travel industry either from a travel agency or tour operator with strong worldwide knowledge.
- Happy to work in the retail office.
- Able to build a rapport with customers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, travel perks, FAM Trips, fun working team, lucrative commission and sociable and flexible working hours (full or part time are on offer). Locations ideal for this role includes Nottingham, Loughborough, Doncaster, Lincoln and Scunthorpe.
